Data Science Fall Internship

Are you student majoring in Engineering Data Science looking to gain valuable work experience this the fall semester at an O&G Services Company!

Our internship program provides hands-on learning and building experiences for students who are interested in a career in Engineering, Science, or Data Science. In addition to working on impactful projects, you will have the opportunity to engage with other employees of Core Lab for professional development, expanding your network, and participating in activities (e.g., team building, social, educational, etc.). with other interns throughout your internship.

Opportunity to gain real-life experience while producing work product for an O&G services company with an 80-year history!

EXPERIENCE

• Proven leadership/participation with campus programs and/or community service activities is desire
• Ability to balance multiple projects and initiatives while executing results
• Excellent communication, presentation, and leadership skills are preferred
• Must be a self-starter who can work independently while contributing to the team goals

PROJECTS FOR THE FALL:

• Apply resulting algorithms to actual data and re-analyze
  • These key projects, if successful should result in increased revenue for CoreLab.
• Characterize temperature stability of tracers based on lab tests
• Evaluate calibration test data and establish model based on field trials
• These key projects, if successful should result in increased revenue for CoreLab.

QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS

• Must be able to work in the city of the posting location with relocation assistance
• Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the U.S.
• Paid Internship
• Candidates must be actively enrolled in an accredited University for the duration of the internship assignment pursuing a Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD degree in Engineering, Science, or Computer Science.
• Part time (20 hours per week)
