Job Summary:

We are seeking a talented Data Science Engineer to join our team for a manufacturing plant data integration project. As a Data Science Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, building, and deploying data models and machine learning algorithms that will enable us to integrate data from different sources in real-time. You will also be responsible for ensuring that the data models and algorithms are accurate and scalable.

Responsibilities/Duties

• Report to ME department manager.
• Available 24 hours consultation to support on our systems at satellite plant.
• Stay up to date with emerging technologies and industry trends related to data science and machine learning.
• Design, develop and maintain data upload/download programs between Central database (IBM/AS400) and local database.
• Must have regular, reliable attendance and willing to work outside the regular schedule as required.
• Troubleshooting on Production Data Systems by debugging program, correcting data and equipment reconfiguration.
• Backup, analyze and optimize current production database.
• Other duties and responsibilities as assigned by maintenance manager.
• Willing to handle job stress and interact with others in the workplace.
• Ensure that the data models and algorithms are accurate and scalable.
• Database administration.
• Develop and maintain documentation related to data models and algorithms.
• Design, development, implement and optimize Production Data Systems as needed.
• Projects Backup.
• Design, build, and deploy data models and machine learning algorithms that will enable us to integrate data from different sources in real-time.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify data requirements and ensure data quality.

Required Qualifications

• Strong understanding of statistical analysis and machine learning algorithms.
• Proficiency in Python, MySQL, and other programming languages used for data modeling and machine learning.
• Experience in designing and building data models and machine learning algorithms for large-scale projects.
• Good written and oral communication skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Data Science, or related field.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Experience in data science engineering is preferred.
