Job Summary:
Raytheon is seeking a highly motivated Manufacturing/Operations Program Manager responsible for the overall execution of production and development type contracts supporting depot operations in a defense contractor setting. The successful candidate will manage and lead all program activity ensuring adherence to program schedule, cost, and technical performance, prepare corrective action plans for technical and schedule issues, and coordinate/execute proposal preparation.
Responsibilities to Anticipate:
- Oversee Factory space and planning, tooling and test equipment
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships, both internal and external for strong business growth
- Accountable for achieving all internal financial targets, supporting process improvement initiatives, and ensuring compliance to all applicable policies and procedures
- Product development and deployment
Qualifications You Must Have:
- Ability to interface at all levels of organization with key team members
- Administer basic management approaches such as work scheduling, prioritizing, coaching and process execution
- Possess specialized knowledge of technical or operational practices
- 5 years of experience in any of these areas Manufacturing, Production, Engineering, Program/Project Management
- Able to lead project teams
- The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Secret Security Clearance
- U.S. Citizenship is required as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance
- Demonstrated stakeholder experience and ability to cultivate results through a cross-functional team
Qualifications We Value:
- Diverse portfolio of manufactured products within Manufacturing Depot Operations (MDO)
- Previous collaboration in a matrix organization supporting multiple product lines
- Previous interaction with functional resources including Supply Chain Management, Manufacturing, Engineering and Production
Education: A University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience, or An Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years experience
