Data Coordinator Lead - Plano, Tx

Analyzes and enters data online for Grant Funded Adult Education Program (AEL).

The salary range for this position is $16.48 to $24.72 an hour.

• 10% Oversees the data entry process The Data Coordinator Lead is responsible for overseeing the data entry process from start to finish. This includes ensuring all data is entered accurately, within the required timeframe, and adheres to established standards and procedures set by the college and grant guidelines.
• 10% Leads a team of data coordinators The Data Coordinator Lead guides a team of data entry coordinators, ensuring that they are trained, motivated, and meeting their performance targets.
• 5% Ensures compliance with data privacy and security policies The Data Coordinator Lead ensures that data entry staff are adhering to company policies and procedures related to data privacy and security.
• 5% Analyze data and generate reports The Data Coordinator Lead may be responsible for analyzing data and generating reports to identify trends, issues, and opportunities for improvement.
• 10% Responsible for compliance with and adherence to grant and AEL policy and procedural guidance; SOPs, including procedures for data collection, PII; and required performance documentation.
• 50% Aggregates and enters program attendance, funding, and performance data in state reporting system.
• 5% Collaborates with other departments The Data Coordinator Lead works closely with other departments to ensure data accuracy and consistency across the company. This may include communicating with instructors, administration, or state compliance.
• 5% Develops and implements data entry procedures The Data Coordinator Lead develops and implements data entry procedures that streamline the process and ensure data accuracy. They also monitor and adjust these procedures as needed.

• Accurately enters alphabetic, numeric, or symbolic data from source documents into the computer.
• Complies with all federal and state laws and regulations relating to higher education.
• Processes daily jobs within scheduled deadlines.

• Compiles, sorts, and verifies accuracy of the data to be entered.
• Provides friendly, professional and accurate service and support to all internal and external customers.

Skills And Knowledge

Experience At least 3 years of experience in data entry or related field.

Education (1) A two year college degree or (2) Completion of a specialized course of study at a business or trade school or (3) Completion of a specialized and extensive in-house training or apprenticeship program.

Interpersonal Skills Normal courtesy in dealing with others is required. Work involves minimal contacts, usually within the department. Contact usually involving routine, non-sensitive issues. External contacts are limited to incidental contacts with visitors, or no contact.

Other Skills Strong leadership and management skills.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to analyze data and generate reports.

Knowledge of data privacy and security policies and procedures.

Proficient in Microsoft Office and database management software

Physical Requirements The work is typically sedentary. However, there may be some walking, standing, bending, carrying of light items, driving an automobile, etc. No special physical demands are required to do the work.

Work Environment Regular exposure to favorable conditions such as those found in a typical office.
