About the Role:
As a Customer Master and Pricing Analyst, you will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy, consistency, and integrity of customer and pricing data within our company's systems and databases. Your primary responsibility will be to manage customer master data and pricing and maintain its quality to support various business processes and enable effective decision-making. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that customer and pricing information is up-to-date and in compliance with data management practices and policies.
You’ll Make a Difference by:
- Creating documentation and facilitating cross training: develop and maintain documentation on data entry guidelines, data quality procedures, and best practices. Conduct cross-training sessions with identified team members to ensure consistent and accurate data handling and business continuity.
- Being a team player: performing other job-related duties, projects, and issue troubleshooting as assigned
- Generating reporting and analyzing data: generate regular reports on data quality and other relevant metrics for customer master and pricing to provide insights to management and stakeholders.
- Focusing on process and systems improvements: continuously identify opportunities to streamline data management processes, enhance data accuracy, and optimize workflow efficiency.
- Collaborating for data entry and updates: coordinate with different departments and teams to gather and input accurate customer information or resolve discrepancies found during data audits. Handle data updates and changes promptly to ensure accuracy.
- Data Integration: Collaborate with IT and other relevant departments to ensure seamless integration of pricing information from Product Lifecycle management (PDM) system.
- Managing data: accurately create, update, and maintain customer and pricing records in SAP ERP and other databases. Ensure that all relevant data elements are current and complete.
- Establishing cross-functional relationships: work closely with Sales, Data Governance, Material Master, Account Analysts, and other teams to address data-related issues, provide data support, and contribute to successful customer experience.
- Cleansing data: identify and rectify inconsistent or outdated records and execute data cleansing procedures to maintain a clean and reliable customer base.
- Ensuring data privacy and security: comply with data protection regulations and internal data privacy policies to safeguard sensitive customer information from unauthorized access or misuse.
- Assuring data quality: regularly perform data audits and validations to identify and resolve data discrepancies, duplicates, and inaccuracies. Implement measures to improve data quality and reliability.
About You:
- Working knowledge of SAP ERP master data files and how they are used in Planning, Manufacturing, Inventory Control, data governance experience a plus.
- Carry out multiple tasks with competing priorities and deadlines.
- Ability to make connections for upstream and downstream processes and systems.
- Detail oriented with proven ability to maintain a very low error ratio.
- Bachelor’s degree and/or equivalent work experience.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word. Experience with Smartsheet, Tableau, Cognos, or SAP reporting capabilities is a plus.
- Customer-centric, analytical growth mindset.
- Quick learner with respect to processes and procedures within SAP as well as new systems and tools.
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills within various levels of organization.
- Love data analysis and data story telling.

The hourly rate for this position is $30.00 - $33.00 per hour.
The salary is determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data for geographic locations. Ariat in good faith believes that this posted compensation range is accurate for this role at this location at the time of this posting. This range may be modified in the future.
