Pricing Analyst - Dallas, Tx (60K-65K + 10%)

LHH is seeking a Pricing Analyst to join our distribution company's finance team. The primary responsibility of this role is to manage the financial operations and accounting functions of the company, including preparing financial statements, maintaining accounting records, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. The ideal candidate must be proficient in Excel and possess advanced analytical and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities:

• Analyze financial data and prepare variance analyses to identify trends and areas of improvement
• Prepare and file tax returns, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements
• Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and financial forecasts
• Perform monthly bank reconciliations and ensure accurate recording of transactions
• Collaborate with other departments to gather and analyze data to improve financial performance
• Prepare and maintain accurate financial statements and reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements
• Train and educate team members on the use of Excel tools and techniques to enhance their productivity and efficiency
• Assist with year-end audits and other financial reporting requirements
• Manage the accounts payable and accounts receivable functions, ensuring timely and accurate processing of transactions
• Manage the fixed asset register and perform depreciation calculations

Requirements:

• Advanced proficiency in Excel, including pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, and other advanced functions
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
• 1+ years of relevant experience in accounting or finance
