Boeing Global Services (BGS) is seeking a 787 Customer Account Manager (Level 4) to join our Component Services Program (CSP) team in Miami, FL. In this role, the focus will be on diligent and prudent business management, customer management, and enabling the IPT to meet internal and external performance targets (including P&L).
This position allows telecommuting. The selected candidate may be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.
Position Responsibilities
Duties will include (but are not limited to):
- Leads customer contract administration, contract scope, and change management processes. Manages and communicates contract health (financial, performance)
- Aggregates and analyzes data, develops develop data driven recommendations, actions, solutions, and monitors and manages through completion
- Collaborates with key Airline customers and internal stakeholders at various levels including executives on the execution of the Component Services Program contracts
- Leads and integrates the implementation of Program Management Best Practices and lessons learned across the portfolio
- Partners with supply chain, supplier management, repair management, engineering, and IT to provide performance oversight on technical, cost, schedule, and quality
- Leads day-to-day customer management responsibilities with accountability to the Senior Program Manager
- Leads cross functional teams and manages projects and key initiatives from start to finish
- Manages and improves Customer contract administration, Customer Management, and Operational Health
This position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a “US Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. § 120.15 is required. “US Person” includes US Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.
Basic Qualifications
- Experience developing and executing operating rhythms, integrated program schedules, project plans, and metrics
- Experience utilizing critical business and financial acumen to manage risks, issues, and opportunities to drive performance
- Experience with program management
- Experience developing and maintaining relationships and partnerships with stakeholders (i.e. customers, suppliers, peers and/or partners)
- Ability to support phone calls during non-business hours (evenings and early mornings)
- Experience aggregating and analyzing data to develop data driven recommendations to inform business decisions
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Supply Chain
- Experience working with aerospace aftermarket industry
- Experience with airline flight operations
Typical Education & Experience: Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 8 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Master’s Degree).
Relocation: This position is located in a location that does not offer relocation. Candidates must live in the immediate area or relocate at their own expense.
