About The Role
The Credentialing and Enrollment Lead is part of the Revenue Cycle Department and reports to the Revenue Cycle Senior Manager. This role is essential to ensuring that our Clinicians are credentialed at our local facilities/hospitals along with completing all payer enrollments.
Responsibilities
- Maintain compliance with NCQA standards and guidelines
- Initiate the credentialing process for Clinicians that are joining PsychPlus
- Maintenance of CAQH Proview
- Oversee the Credentialing and Enrollment Specialist and monitor individual/department productivity
- Monitoring of all Clinician expirables to include: licenses, board certifications, professional liability insurance, hospital privileges, and payer revalidations
- Responsible for gathering and submitting necessary documentation to the local facilities/hospitals for initial and reappointment applications prior to the expiration date
- Assist with Credentialing Meeting preparation and post meeting functions
- Aid in the development of proper reporting systems and automation
- Develop and implement process improvement to gain efficiencies
- Ensure that Clinician payer enrollment applications are submitted timely and accurately
Requirements
- Experience in healthcare credentialing across Behavioral Health specialties is strongly preferred
- Strong proficiency in Google Suite
- Ability to maintain a professional demeanor in a highly stressful and emotional environment, behavioral health and/or suffering patients
- Provider Group or Health Plan experience required
- Must have the ability to consistently meet performance standards of production, accuracy, completeness and quality
- Ability to learn quickly
- Forward looking thinker, who actively seeks opportunities and proposes solutions
- Ability to organize and prioritize work and manage multiple priorities simultaneously to meet deadlines
- Willingness to pitch in and assist others with projects and share responsibilities, as needed
- Quiet work-from-home environment
- Excellent organizational and time management skills, ability to multitask, high attention to detail, and follow-up skills
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Highly resourceful self-learner, with the ability to operate effectively independently
- Minimum of 3 year’s experience in within a Credentialing or Payer Enrollment Coordinator

Additional Information
The expected base pay for this role will be between $43,000 and $60,000 per year at the commencement of employment. However, base pay will be determined on an individualized basis and will be impacted by location and years of experience. Further, base pay is only part of the total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include incentive compensation, discretionary bonuses, other short and long-term incentive packages, and other Psychplus Health-sponsored benefits.
