REMOTE | Base: $23-$26/hour + Full Benefits (medical, dental, vision, and PTO)

Purpose: The Credentialing Specialist ensures clients onboard correctly and are recognized by payers in the system. This is a client-facing position.

Day-To-Day:

• Conduct follow-ups with payers and internal and external entities
• Conduct monthly compliance on all accounts to be sure claims are processing according to upload
• Responsible for gathering, verifying evaluating highly confidential and sensitive health care credentials and accreditation standards
• Enter pertinent information as a new record for each client account
• Interface with insurance carrier contacts and personnel
• Proactively acquire documentation to ensure a one-and-one, seamless onboard
• Resolve discrepancies identified during the credentialing process
• Identify, retrieve, upload, and secure any documents missing from a client record
• Manage documentation uploads critical to a client ‘activation’ in the system e.g. w-9s and licenses

Qualifications:

• Two years credentialing behavioral health treatment providers
• Bonus: billing, coding, auditing, appeals, and medical records experience
