Overview of the Role

We are a quickly growing coffee start-up backed by top-tier VCs with a mission to support local coffee communities across the globe and to make the artisan coffee experience accessible to everyone.

xBloom is looking for highly motivated and creative designers with 3-5 years of design experience to join our design team. As a designer, you have been successful in working with teams, built strong relationships with clients and colleagues, and have seen the entire creative process, from strategy to execution.

• Understanding and interest in learning other design skills, such as art direction, UI, UX, and design software in general.
• Ability to create engaging and on-brand graphics for a variety of media
• At least 2 years of solid full-time experience (exceptional portfolio presentation is needed) as a graphic/visual designer, with understanding and experience in digital 2D design, web user interface, brand identities, and packaging design.

Your Day to Day

• Create and design various materials for digital and print
• QA design for errors
• Collaborate with the team to develop new approaches for creating more-expressive graphics for the company
• Ensure projects are completed in a timely manner with a quality product

What We Look For

• Advanced in Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop, Figma
• Conversational-level spoken and written English is essential
• Formal design training from a college or university
• Strong, diverse portfolio that demonstrates a focus on graphic or communication design
• Knowledge of production skills and exposure to CSS & HTML is plus
• Product photo shooting skill is a plus
• A good team player with a passion for your work and a desire to work with a team
• Knowledge or experience with 3D rendering is a plus
