Job Summary:
The Talent Acquisition Recruiter is responsible for working collaboratively with the TR Team and Corporate leaders to source, screen, attract, recruit and onboard teammates for Proctor Loan Protector offices. Assist in ensuring that consistent, efficient workflows are in place, yielding optimal productivity and performance to meet office objectives.
Essential Duties and Functions include working collaboratively with the Sr. Talent Acquisition Specialist performing the following:

The Talent Acquisition Recruiter will be responsible for:
  • Exceptional organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize multiple assignments and competing deadlines, required
  • Reviewing applicants in our ATS system to determine those that are qualified and should move forward in the process.
  • Additional duties may be assigned as needed.
  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally required to stand; walk; sit for extended periods of time; reach with hands and arms; bend and perform manual tasks.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills, with attention to detail.
  • Trustworthy, Customer Focused, Takes Initiative.
  • Coordinate interviews: both phone screens with Talent Acquisition Professional, and in person interviews with the office hiring manager.
  • High School diploma
  • Highly motivated, disciplined, fast learner with the ability to multitask, required
  • Preferred/Required Qualifications:
  • Visual acuity is required including color, depth perception, and field of vision. Vision sufficient for constant use of computer.
  • 3-5+ years of recruitment experience
  • Source candidates in our call center locations to proactively build a pipeline to fill our monthly classes. Utilize searches (active and passive) to increase flow and fills for our call centers. This is high volume recruiting so time management, attention to detail and creative sourcing will be key.
  • Hearing sufficient for in-person and telephone communication.
  • The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 15 pounds.
  • Microsoft Office experience, preferred
  • Assist the TR team in onboarding new teammates.
  • Coordinate with the TR, Training, and Operations departments to ensure new hires are started efficiently.
  • Work Environment: This job operates in a professional office environment.   • Create job postings and post jobs on websites to get maximum exposure.
  • Ability to utilize sourcing techniques including but not limited to conducting web and social media searches.
  • Proactively partner with hiring team leaders to determine staffing needs and ensure understanding of the requirements and expectations for those needs.
  • Manages resumes and applications according to PLP/Brown & Brown retention policy.
  • The employee will be required to communicate verbally and by phone.
  • Call center experience or staffing agency recruiting experience is a PLUS but not required.

  • Screens resumes, administers the appropriate assessments and reference/background checks, suggests recommendations for hire (or not hire), and assists in the delivery of employment offers for both exempt and non-exempt position openings.
  • The employee may occasionally drive to attend recruiting events or meetings.
  • Experience in recruiting for both exempt and non-exempt positions.

  • Ability to sit at a desk 7-8 hours per day.
  • Knowledge of MS Office Products such as Word, Outlook, WorkDay a plus
  • Maintains confidentiality and a positive, can-do work ethic.
  • Create and update weekly recruiting metrics to review with the TR team and leadership.
  • Maintain accurate record-keeping details in compliance with federal and state requirements (EEO documentation, AA, etc.)
  • Strong, previous experience in using applicant tracking systems, preferred
  • Manual dexterity, arm and upper body range of motion sufficient for use of a keyboard, mouse, on a constant basis 7-8 hours per day
  • Maintain information in the applicant tracking systems to ensure compliance and accuracy of metrics.
