Impartner, a global leader in the channel management sector is seeking a Corporate Controller experienced with the subscription SaaS enterprise business model and well-versed in a broad range of related finance and accounting areas to join our accounting and finance team. This is an important leadership role at the Company, reporting directly to the Chief Financial Officer.

The position is responsible for generating timely and accurate consolidated financial statements, internal and external financial reporting, compliance with accounting policies and procedures, assisting in M&A activity, managing, and developing appropriate internal controls, and maintaining compliance with US GAAP and other regulations. The Corporate Controller will also be actively involved in annual budgeting and strategic planning.

Job Location

While this is a Remote position, we do ask that candidates be available to come onsite into Impartner’s South Jordan office monthly for onsite executive leadership meetings.

Responsibilities shall include, but not be limited to the following:

• Day-to-day leadership and management of the corporate accounting and finance functions.
• Report and present financial and operating performance metrics to executive management team.
• Develop and maintain best practices in accounting policies and procedures.
• The right candidate for this role will be able to set up/reconfigure CPQ to support company-wide objectives with quoting, pricing, approvals and provide SF CPQ configuration expertise to assist Sales Operations with CPQ use as needed.
• Manage and mentor an accounting and finance team.
• Manage the company’s annual audit and its relationship with the external auditors.
• Assist CFO and FP&A function as needed with cash forecasting, budgeting, and other ad hoc project requests.
• Implement best practices in cost control and develop solutions to contain and manage expenses.
• Coordinate preparation of financial statements and operating metric reports.
• Monitor changes in US GAAP reporting requirements and implement changes as appropriate.
• Assist in the review, procurement, and maintenance of corporate insurance programs.
• Organize, direct, and control all general accounting, payroll, accounts payable, accounts receivable, fixed assets, and international consolidation activities.
• Assist with merger and acquisition activity, including due diligence and post-acquisition integration.
• Guide the accounting team on technical and complex transactions including revenue recognition, purchase accounting, equity, share-based compensation, impairment analysis and others.
• Develop and maintain operating and strategic plans and objectives, monitoring performance against those plans to help ensure continued business growth and operational effectiveness.

Requirements

• Experience with B2B SaaS business model and deep understanding of SaaS metrics is a MUST.
• CPA license highly preferred
• Perhaps 5 years professional accounting experience with 2 of those years spent Controller or similar role.
• Experience working with venture capital- or private equity-backed companies highly preferred.
• Experience with multi-entity, multi-currency consolidations
• Well-developed financial analysis capabilities
• Expert in Excel, PowerPoint, and other Microsoft Office Suite applications
• Public accounting experience preferred.
• Strong ERP system experience; proficiency with Sage Intacct highly preferred
• Strong knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles, technical accounting proficiency in relevant area for private SaaS companies especially in, but not limited to Revenue Recognition (ASC 606), Capitalized Software Development (ASC 985), Stock-based compensation (ASC 718)
• Exceptional team management skills

Base Salary Range

• $160,000-$180,000

This salary range is offered with the understanding that final compensation is based on several factors including geography and experience. Impartner also offers stock option shares, annual bonuses, and benefits.
