OVERVIEW
The Access Management Coordinator is responsible for managing employee access for client system and other network accounts, including requesting, creating and termination of access for all users in various systems and troubleshooting baseline access issues. This role is also responsible for training internal team member on access related issues and efficient problem resolution techniques.
Responsibilities include:
- Maintain all system access logs/ files, performing audits regularly and providing reports to management as needed
- Train new internal team members on access-related procedures and problem resolution workflows
- May assist with front office functions such as answering and directing telephone calls, signing in guests, and enforcing appropriate security procedures
- Request and terminate access for users across multiple internal systems, external client systems, payor websites, and other online resource portals
- Serve as point of contact between the organization and client for access management related items
- Develop and maintain positive working relationships with client teams and internal customers while delivering superior customer service
- Other duties as assigned
- May be responsible for requesting and managing security access, including printing, scanning & testing access cards
- Maintain access related processes, procedures, standards, and system documentation
- Assist in first-level troubleshooting for access related issues. Escalate issues to IT Technical Support team, or management when necessary
- Analyze access-related issue trends and proactively suggest process improvements
- Utilize designated internal and external ticketing systems and standard operating procedures to monitor and ensure on-time delivery of access-related requests and adherence to Service Level Agreements
QUALIFICATIONS
- 2+ years previous general clerical experience
- Knowledge of information security concepts and principles
- Possess strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communications skills to communicate effectively with internal and external customers
- Ability to apply discretion when handling sensitive/confidential information
- Strong attention to detail & well organized
- High school diploma
- Honest, assertive self-starter with the ability to work in a fast-paced, team-based environment
- Ability to multi-task, establish work priorities, and meet required deadlines
- Ability to understand and work with a sense of urgency while remaining calm and professional in a busy environment
