Sr Engineer 2-Principal Engineer-Identity & Access Management - Remote

The job responsibilities for the position are:

• Engineering, development, implementation, and support of Identity and Access Management,
• Improve the efficiency and scalability of operational systems and processes to accommodate the rapid growth of users,
• Project team participation, and
• Designing access controls for a complex application,
• Problem management activities,
• System and network management activities,
• Defining, developing, maintaining, and advising on the effective use of the Publix information technology architecture,
• Create and implement automated processes that reduce manual efforts and increase overall efficiency and scalability,
• Software and hardware installation, configuration, integration, and support,
• New technology awareness, research, and system integration.

Required Qualifications:

• High degree of self-motivation, commitment, and integrity, and
• Experience with security protocols such as LDAP-S, SAML, SCIM, OAuth, and OIDC,
• Must show enthusiasm, initiative, and pride in work and a commitment to Publix and our Mission.
• Must have at least 4 years of experience (SR II) and 6 years (for Principal) of experience with designing, implementing, and supporting large enterprise Identity Governance solutions including user life cycle, management, Role-Based Access Control (RBAC), access and role analytics and reporting,
• Excellent communication and team skills,
• Ability to track and follow industry trends related to the IAM/IGA domain and perform enterprise gap assessments, strategic planning, and enterprise recommendations,
• Must have a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or an analytical discipline and/or equivalent experience,
• Excellent attendance and punctuality record,
• Experience in software development in any of the following programming languages: .net/Java/python/JavaScript, etc.,
• Demonstrated ability to work under minimal supervision,
• Must have at least 3 years of experience with design, implementation, and support of Authentication services including Privileged Access Management and password vaulting solutions,

Preferred Qualifications:

• Solid working knowledge of Azure DevOps pipeline and workflows,
• Good understanding of the ITIL, Agile and MOF frameworks along with the incident, problem, and change management processes.
• Excellent leadership, teamwork, and collaboration skills,
• Familiarity with service-oriented and web-service technologies,
• Excellent problem-solving skills and development of creative solutions,
• Results oriented, high energy, self-motivated,
• CISSP certification, and
• 5 years of experience with design, implementation, and support of Authentication services including Privileged Access Management and password vaulting solutions,
• 8 years of experience with designing, implementing, and supporting large enterprise Identity Governance solutions including user life cycle management, Role-Based Access Control (RBAC), access and role analytics and reporting,

Frequency of Pay: Monthly

Potential Annual Pay with Bonus: $111,930 - $199,225

Year End Bonus: As a year-end bonus to associates, Publix Associate Services issues one month’s extra pay (pro-rated in the first year) each year if associate remains employed through issue date of the bonus check that year. This is calculated as a 13th month of pay in the Potential Annual Pay with Bonus line above.
