Conversational Ai Front End / Back End Engineers (Unpaid Internship)

As an Engineer with a focus on AI, you will be a critical member of our team. A successful candidate will have a blend of technical and artistic skills, understanding both coding and design principles.

This opportunity is an initially unpaid through September 29th. During this time, you will gain access to numerous Al applications and work with our team on backend projects that fuel our Al agent services.

Our platform lets businesses build customized AI agents using prebuilt components and modules, akin to assembling blocks. This unique approach brings the power of AI to businesses of all sizes, regardless of coding ability. Our ultimate goal? To be the gold standard for AI-powered business-to-consumer interaction and shift the way businesses and consumers interact.

Our service is especially beneficial to retail and service-based small businesses, as we facilitate deployment of autonomous interfaces, soon to replace websites, in consumer interaction and future AI systems.

During the first week, we will work on setting up your access to our Virtual Workspace and integrating you with the teams on front-end and back-end projects.

Requirements:

• Stable internet connection for regular check-ins every three days.

• Familiarity with the principles of AI and Machine Learning is a plus.

• Knowledge of cloud computing platforms like AWS or Google Cloud is a plus.

• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.

• Experience in setting up backend servers with technologies like Express, Flask, Django, Ruby on Rails, or Spring Boot.

• Ability to design and test React frontends, with proficiency in using tools like Create React App, fetch, Axios, etc.

• Experience with Docker, including creating Dockerfiles, building Docker images, and running Docker containers.

• Ability to dockerize both backend and frontend applications, including the creation of Dockerfiles, installing dependencies, exposing ports, building Docker images, and running Docker containers.

• Deep understanding of how to build a Docker image and deploy an application, including setting up a working directory inside a container, copying application files into the container, exposing ports, and defining commands to run the application.

• Familiarity with backend technology and ability to assess an AI program's requirements, scalability, and select a suitable backend technology such as Node.js with Express, Python with Flask or Django, Ruby on Rails, or Java with Spring Boot.

• Proven experience in setting up a React project and designing UI components of the frontend to interact with the AI program. Proficiency in implementing API requests using fetch or an HTTP client library (e.g., Axios) and handling the responses from the backend server is a plus.

• Prior experience in defining API endpoints, creating handlers for each API endpoint in the backend, parsing request data, and sending appropriate responses with the AI program's output back to the frontend.
