[JOB DESCRIPTION]

We are seeking a highly skilled Contract Senior Python Platform Engineer to join our team. As a Senior Python Platform Engineer, you will primarily focus on backend development (80%) while also contributing to frontend development (20%). You will play a key role in designing and implementing robust and scalable solutions.

[RESPONSIBILITIES]

- Develop and maintain scalable backend solutions using Python as the primary programming language.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical specifications.

- Design and implement web architectures and utilize design patterns to ensure efficient and maintainable code.

- Apply software engineering best practices, including coding standards, code reviews, and testing methodologies.

- Utilize public cloud environments, such as Azure and AWS, to deploy and manage applications.

- Collaborate with frontend developers to develop and integrate frontend components using web technologies like ReactJS and/or AngularJS.

- Troubleshoot and debug issues in both the backend and frontend components of the platform.

- Optimize application performance and ensure high availability and scalability.

- Collaborate with DevOps teams to implement CI/CD pipelines and automate deployment processes.

- Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends to drive continuous improvement in platform development.

[REQUIREMENTS]

- 5 years of experience in Python development, with a focus on backend development.

- Strong understanding of web architecture and design patterns to develop scalable and maintainable solutions.

- Solid knowledge of software engineering best practices, including code optimization, debugging, and testing.

- Strong experience working with public cloud environments, such as Azure and AWS, for application deployment and management.

- Proficiency in web technologies like ReactJS and/or AngularJS for frontend development.

- Experience with databases and SQL for data management and retrieval.

- Familiarity with RESTful APIs and integrating them into backend systems.

- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot and debug complex systems.

- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
