Job Description

Senior Front End Engineer

The successful candidate will be responsible for building guest-facing UI microsites, ensuring accessibility, and working with Vue.js, JavaScript, and TypeScript. You will also be responsible for developing re-usable web components and using testing frameworks to ensure high-quality code.


Responsibilities:

  • Build guest-facing UI microsites using Vue.js, JavaScript, and TypeScript.
  • Write and maintain high-quality code that meets the organization's standards.
  • Ensure accessibility of all UI components.
  • Use testing frameworks to ensure code quality and reduce the risk of bugs.
  • Develop re-usable web components that can be used across the organization.
  • Collaborate with other engineers and stakeholders to ensure that the product meets all requirements.


Requirements:

  • Experience developing re-usable web components.
  • At least 5 years of experience in front-end development.
  • Strong understanding of accessibility guidelines and best practices.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong knowledge of Vue.js, JavaScript, and TypeScript.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • Experience working in an agile development environment.
  • Experience with version control systems such as Git.
  • Experience with testing frameworks such as Jest or Cypress.
