• We are looking for a front-end developer to join our digital organization, supporting main ecommerce site
• Core level Front-End Developers are beginning to exhibit confidence in their space and are actively building relationships within and outside the team.
• Collaborate with partners and stakeholders to help refine and develop requirements and user stories for site enhancements.
• Work closely and collaboratively within an Agile product team to define practical solutions that meet business requirements and deliver an exceptional customer experience.
• RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Relationships: Core team members are expected to proactively build relationships with peers through collaboration. They should also build relationships with stakeholders and have an understanding of how their role plays into the organization at large. A Core member can identify key stakeholders and tailor communication to their needs.
• Review pull-requests and provide meaningful feedback and ideas to team members.
• Experience: Core team members are established performers who have contributed to at least one shipped product. They demonstrate professionalism, craft, and can leverage what they have learned in the context of BBW.
• Accountability: Core team members take personal responsibility for quality and timeliness of their work.
• Deliver high quality, accessible code using industry best practices.
• Presence: Core developers are still eager to learn, share what they have learned, and are gaining confidence in their contributions to the team. They attend and actively contribute to all working sessions, meeting obligations, and team ceremonies.
• Communication: Core team members have strong communication skills. They can confidently communicate their rationale to team members, exhibit a growth mindset when receiving and providing feedback, and are proficient at documenting and communicating ideas and solutions.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Familiar with modern frameworks & libraries (e.g., React, Vue, etc.).
• Basic knowledge of working with build automation and continuous integration.
• Exposure to server-side JavaScript technologies.
• Experience contributing to projects in a heavily cross-functional environment.
• Experience with Salesforce Commerce Cloud/Demandware/SFRA or other Ecommerce platforms preferred.
• Working understanding of UX and design fundamentals.
• 1+ years hands-on front end web development.
• Strong understanding of client-side JavaScript technologies.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills; ability to effectively collaborate with business users through explaining technical concepts in simplified terms.
• Desire to learn new technologies and continually expand technical capabilities.
• Familiar with API driven design.
• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience.
• Experience working with CSS preprocessing (we use SASS).
• Experience in analyzing, designing, developing, implementing, managing and adhering to style guidelines and working with design systems.
• Familiar with Agile development processes.
• Experience supporting, mentoring, and providing technical guidance for other developers.
• Ability to work with high-level business requirements and help stakeholders define technical scope.
• Experience with Git and version control.
• Strong foundational knowledge of modern front-end technologies.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, multi-tasking environment as a valued team member.
• Familiar with accessible development practices (ADA/WCAG compliance).
• EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
• Experience with collaborative and productivity tools such as Jira / Trello / Confluence.
