Content Specialist (Remote Opportunity)

In this role, you will be responsible for taking approved content, gathering all assets and publishing articles to educate consumers. The ideal candidate will possess superior attention to detail and the ability to identify content errors to ensure accurate article publication.

Responsibilities:

• Develop a working knowledge of all editorial processes.
• Meticulous attention to detail, passionate about process.
• Ability to work within multiple CMS platforms concurrently and with precision.
• Optimize all visual and SEO metadata components.
• Work in a cross-functional environment to gather assets and prepare content for publication.
• Ensure completion of all appropriate approvals prior to routing for publication.
• Ability to troubleshoot technical issues in conjunction with technical support staff (coding not required).
• Assist with the creation, formatting, and timely publishing of articles on a daily basis.
• Quality control of all published content—verifying error-free article publication.
• Escalate article issues to Editors as needed.
• Ensure version control in a centralized location.
• Track approved content, gather assets, and ensure on-schedule publication.

Basic Qualifications:

• Successful execution and balancing of multiple concurrent tasks
• Demonstrated collaboration with teams using outstanding communication skills
• Willingness and ability to work as part of a team
• 1+ years of CMS content authoring experience strongly preferred
• High School Diploma or equivalency
• Meticulous attention to detail, passion for processes
• Willingness to take direction
• Proven ability to respond flexibly to changing priorities
• 1-2 years of professional content entry experience; editorial background preferred
