Corra is seeking a thoughtful and creative problem-solver to fill our SEO Content Strategist role. This role is delivery focused and places you in touch with clients daily. The ideal candidate has 3+ years experience at an e-commerce brand, retailer, or agency in a role primarily focused on SEO and content strategy, with strong familiarity with leading SEO tools and analytics platforms as well, to go beyond mere KPI reporting to interpret trends and recommend courses of action to influence UX/design, on-page content creation, and optimization strategy.


In this role you’re an invaluable resource supporting the SEO content program of our projects and you will be a point of contact for the client on various SEO content efforts. You should be well versed in the fundamentals of SEO and content strategy, including keyword research, keyword mapping, on-page optimization, taxonomy and content structure, creating content briefs, content review and editing, content generation, technical SEO auditing, competitive gap analysis, and reporting insights as well as UX, design, and web development best practices. Each day you want to push strategies for SEO content into new territory by going beyond just on-page content optimization suggestions and implementation, but reviewing UX, design, functionality, and technical along with content to holistically drive organic rankings, qualified traffic, site engagement and user journey that leads to conversion.


You would describe yourself somewhere in the middle of creative and technical, both left and right-brained. Most of all, you have a strong and friendly point of view on how to shape a website to not only meet SEO best practices, but drive an engaging content strategy that leads to brand visibility and business growth for eCommerce brands.


Responsibilities


  • Provide a high level of customer service to clients
  • Naturally inquisitive, with both a qualitative and quantitative approach to gathering insights and suggesting solutions
  • Support the execution of client strategies to increase client profitability
  • Present findings to internal teams and clients, including desired action items and partner with them to develop a plan for execution
  • Research and produce key components of SEO content deliverables: keyword research and mapping, link research, technical analyses, competitive analyses, content briefs, copy review and SEO edit recommendations, AI generated content, and reporting and insights
  • Stay up to date with new market tools and opportunities, which would support client strategy or our product offering, and share to the wider team
  • Analyze reports from SEO tools and dashboards and turn them into actionable insights
  • Time management to ensure tasks are completed within the scope of the project’s delivery window and budget
  • Adventurous, ambitious, and highly-accountable to own the client program workflow for SEO content including fixed deliverables and ad-hoc projects
  • Self-starter, organized, and detail-oriented to own the day-to-day interactions with clients and the internal delivery team for assigned projects


Requirements


  • Intermediate Excel skills at minimum
  • Performs well in an environment with competing priorities and multiple projects
  • Fundamental understanding of web design, development, UX, taxonomy and content structure, and technical SEO best practices to drive value.
  • Ability to utilize AI to generate optimized copy (metadata, heading tags, banner copy, blog posts, etc.) preferred
  • 3+ years experience at an e-commerce brand, retailer, or agency in a role primarily focused on SEO content strategy
  • Familiarity with social media strategy and reporting is a plus
  • Excellent SEO keyword and trending topic research, mapping, copywriting and editing skills (metadata, heading tags, banner copy, etc.), and competitive analysis skills.
  • Presentation and storytelling skills, including slide deck building and comfort speaking in front of stakeholders
  • Hands-on experience with common SEO tools (Screaming Frog, SEMrush, Ahrefs, Moz, Google Search Console, Google Analytics) and the ability to research within and interpret the output of those tools in a way that conveys business meaning to clients
  • Proven track record with portfolio of successfully implementing SEO content strategy tactics on e-commerce sites, increasing organic traffic, CTR, page views, and engagement
  • Strong relationship management skills; ability to collaborate with people at all levels throughout the organization
  • Excellent analytic and creative problem solving skills with proven ability to deliver actionable insights that drive content strategy development and ROI
