Job Description
Responsibilities

  • Build data-based decision-making for optimal risk strategies that maximize the net present value to the firm, focusing on reducing losses and operating expense, while maximizing customer value
  • Develop analytical reports and presentations for senior management, executive committees, and regulatory exams.
  • Collaborate with Finance, Marketing, Decision Science, Operations and Technology teams to ensure smooth execution and meeting all control requirements
  • Manage and mentor junior analysts to deliver on analytical projects
  • Develop appropriate test, pilot, and roll-out decisions for new and changed programs leveraging quantitative and qualitative decision-making
  • Keep up to date with applicable regulations and compliance requirements with possible interactions with internal and external regulators
  • Perform statistically driven credit and risk analyses using a variety of analytic techniques and data sources for the development of collection strategies for multiple products to minimize losses for the business
Basic Qualifications
  • Ability to communicate effectively with senior leadership and key stakeholders
  • 3+ years of experience in the job offered or in a similar quantitative role
  • Utilizing SAS, R, Python (or similar) for statistical modeling and analyzing time-series data
  • Experience in design and execution of a credit testing strategy, model implementation and risk-based scoring framework
  • Bachelor or master’s degree in engineering, mathematics, statistics, business, computer science or related discipline
  • Building, improving, or analyzing risk management in an unsecured consumer lending that must include either credit card or personal loan utilizing knowledge of U.S. credit bureau data, Risk Scorecards
  • Knowledge of collections and recoveries regulatory requirements
