Account Management is responsible for cultivating and maintaining on-going customer relationships with an assigned set of customers. Provides new and existing customers with the best possible service and recommendations in relation to billing inquiries, service requests, improvements to internal and external processes, and other areas of opportunity. Provides product service information to customers and identifies upselling opportunities to maintain and increase income streams from customer relationships.
The Consultant, Account Management, Oncology will be responsible for expanding the Cardinal Specialty footprint within existing community-based leadership identified strategic customer base by pursuing new product lines, technology services and the retention of existing business within strategic customer group. This type of customer group is expanding into multiple therapeutic areas and requires a broad level understanding of both therapeutic area and business unit specifics for all physician office-based business. This role will partner closely with Sales Directors and Key Account Managers, to ensure a strong Cardinal network and a seamless focus on the customer.
Responsibilities
- Pull out critical insights that could be opportunity and customer contact between AE and Customer
- Order tracking and customer service levels monitoring.
- Issue Resolution/Internal Partnerships
- Support customer go-live activities including coordinating the paperwork to be signed, ensuring there are no outstanding action items from a sales perspective
- Work where needed with GPO, credit, customer service, sourcing, etc to manage through issue resolution where needed
Qualifications
- Healthcare experience preferred; oncology experience a plus
- Strong communication skills
- 2-4 years' experience working in account management preferred
- Experience working in distribution a plus
- Bachelor's degree in related field, or equivalent work experience, preferred
Location
- Remote, work from home
- Up to 30% travel, to visit with customers and attend Cardinal Health hosted customer events

Anticipated salary range: $63,200-$94,815
