Technical Account Manager

They are seeking an experienced Technical Account Manager (TAM) who is a highly motivated professional with a solid understanding of technology modernization, cybersecurity best practices, CIS Controls and the ability to articulate their impact on business. In this role, you deeply understand the Managed Security Products, educate customers on how programs function, align outcomes to client’s business goals, and improve their security posture and maturity.

Responsibilities
• Become a Subject Matter Expert on Managed Security Products.
• Lead Strategic Business Reviews with senior-level clients to help them understand their needs and guide them through technology improvements, ensuring IT roadmap milestones are met.
• Align Managed Security Products with customer strategic objectives and stay on top of client initiatives and security priorities based on clients’ individual business needs.
• Identify opportunities to grow managed security services business, including upselling and cross-selling, within the current client base and working with Account Executives on positioning.
• Advise and support sales staff to better understand customer requirements and how Managed Security Products align with them.
• Work with product owners to improve solutions based on client needs and industry trends.
• Be an advisor to clients to help them understand the mindset of IT as a Business Enabler.
• Performs other duties, as necessary.

· Strong IT security knowledge in both cloud-based and on-prem environments.
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills, and strong client-facing skills.

Qualifications/Experience
· Minimum 8 years of job-related experience as an SE, TAM, or Security Leader in an MSP, IT Services, or IT Security.
· 4-year degree in technology or business - additional experience in lieu of a degree.
· Proficient in articulating the impact of technology on business to senior-level stakeholders.
· Adept in leading business and technology strategy sessions with senior-level stakeholders.
- Knowledge of CIS controls will EXTREMELY HELPFUL
