Collects data, analyzes it, and partners with Business Line personnel to identify and resolve potential conflicts of interest to ensure compliance with applicable laws, rules, guidance, and regulations. This position resides within the second line of defense.

Primary responsibilities include:

  • Maintaining and running the conflicts of interest process covering Wealth Management and Investor Services management accounts that own bank or affiliated securities.
  • Maintaining and running the personal securities transaction reporting process covering Wealth Management and Investor Services and their supporting personnel.
  • Escalating issues to senior business line and compliance management as needed.
  • Following up on open items as needed.
  • Identify, tracking, and reporting potential conflicts until their resolution.

Secondary responsibilities included:

  • Actively engaging and collaborating with business lines to understand products, services, and operations, and, where appropriate, monitor compliance with applicable conflicts of interest risks.
  • Having working knowledge on applicable fiduciary conflicts of interest risks and how they impact their assigned business lines.
  • Consulting on BL procedures, control design and training
  • Participating in other Compliance and Risk Management Specialist activities as needed.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree, or equivalent work experience
  • Typically more than six years of applicable experience

  • Demonstrated ability to deliver results as a sole contributor and as a team member. Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail, organizational and time management skills.
  • High emotional ownership – self-starter with high energy, motivation, commitment to excellence and positive approach to business challenges.
  • Willingness to challenge processes and propose solutions.
  • Demonstratable knowledge of conflicts of interest risks, regulations and their impacts regarding trust products and operations.
  • Comfort running multiple high priority tasks with business line management visibility.

This role is hybrid. Team members who are in a hybrid role typically spend three days a week at a U.S. Bank location, while having flexibility on their work location for the other working days.

The salary range reflects figures based on the primary location, which is listed first. The actual range for the role may differ based on the location of the role. Pay Range: $99,365.00 - $116,900.00 - $128,590.00
