About Cirkul
Cirkul is a venture-backed startup company that develops transformational beverage technology products that reimagine how flavored beverages are created, personalized and enjoyed at home and on-the-go. Cirkuls innovative bottle uses replaceable flavor cartridges - Cirkul Sips - to bring flavor to water. Once the cartridge is inserted into the top of the Cirkul bottle, water flows from the tilted bottle through the Cirkul Sip, delivering delicious flavor to the user.
Overview
Cirkul is looking for a detail oriented HR Compliance Analyst to join our team! This newly created role will ensure HR compliance is met and upheld at Cirkul. This includes responsibility for monitoring changes in the business environment and legislation/regulatory standards that may affect HR policies and procedures to ensure continued compliance. The HR Compliance and Reporting Analyst will create standardization of compliance reports, processes, and procedures. This person will be responsible for also handling all workers compensation cases, leave of absence, and return to work.
Responsibilities
  • Maintain all company policies and procedures, ensuring adherence to regulatory standards.
  • Maintain in-depth knowledge of legal requirements related to employees, reducing legal risks and ensuring regulatory compliance.
  • Manage all leave of absence requests in accordance with local and federal regulations ensuring HIPAA compliance. Working alongside People Operations to ensure employees are utilizing any elected leave benefits.
  • Create and implement standardized forms and best practices for compliance related events.
  • Partners with people leaders, stakeholders, and People Business Partners to support and make recommendations on workplace accommodations.
  • Complete reporting and analysis to provide actionable metrics to drive overall compliance and process improvement initiatives.
  • Manage and administer workers compensation programs, including return to work.
  • Direct and participate in all internal HR audits, identify gaps, and make improvement recommendations.
  • Lead all government regulated compliance reporting and ensure timely completion.
Qualifications
  • Strong technical skills and ability to manipulate data using tools like Excel and Google Sheets.
  • Attention to detail and good judgment.
  • Strong organizational, critical thinking, and problem solving skills.
  • Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with all levels of employees, bilingual in Spanish is a plus.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Human Resources, or other related field.
  • 3+ years experience in an HR Generalist, Employee Relations or a related role conducting compliance investigations related to federal, state, and local employment and labor laws for a multi-site organization
