Position: Medical Claims Adjuster II
Summary Of Responsibilities
As a Medical Claims Adjuster II, you'll play a crucial role in our mission to deliver exceptional service. Your primary responsibilities will involve adjudicating claims based on variable contract provisions and benefits in accordance with state guidelines. This position requires a deep understanding of policy contract language, insurance applications, medical terminology, and medical aspects.
Requirements
Experience: 2-3 years of experience in medical health claim adjusting, with a preference for experience in hospital indemnity claims.
Policy Expertise: Proficiency in reading and referencing policy language for benefit administration.
Investigative Skills: Experience in preexisting or investigations is a valuable asset.
Tech Savvy: Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office Word and Excel.
Data Management: Strong data entry skills.
Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Analytical Mindset: Ability to analyze risk effectively.
Organization: Must possess good judgment and strong prioritization and organizational skills.
