Job Description

Our client is a well-funded startup in the Logistics space planning to launch in the coming months. As CTO, you'll lead the development of their AI logistics platform and help build a talented team of engineers and data scientists. You'll work closely with our CEO and Co-Founders to shape the company's strategic direction and drive growth, ensuring that the platform meets customer needs and delivers on business objectives.


NOTE: This is a hybrid role, please do not apply if you're unable to come to the office in Santa Monica ~3 days a week.


Some Responsibilities Include:

  • Lead development of the AI logistics platform using the latest AI and Machine Learning technologies.
  • Manage a team of engineers, data scientists, and AI experts, guiding and supporting them for innovation and performance.
  • Work with cross-functional teams to ensure our platform meets customer needs and business objectives.
  • Foster a culture of excellence, continuous improvement, and customer focus across the technology organization.
  • Create the platform's technical architecture and infrastructure for scalability, security, and reliability.


Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of software development experience, with AI and machine learning focus.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Strong technical skills in AI, machine learning, and natural language processing, with a track record of delivering innovative solutions at scale.
  • Bachelor's/Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
  • Experience building and managing high-performing engineering teams.
  • Experience in logistics/fulfillment/3PL/warehousing is a plus.
