About the Role

The Chief Sales Officer will be responsible for driving sales growth, leading a high-performing sales team, and developing strategic initiatives to expand the market presence of the brand.


Key responsibilities include:

  • Conduct sales forecasting and budgeting, ensuring optimal resource allocation and efficient sales operations.
  • Develop and execute effective sales strategies to penetrate new markets and expand our customer base.
  • Establish and monitor sales performance metrics, regularly evaluating sales team performance and implementing corrective measures when necessary.
  • Collaborate closely with marketing and product development teams to align sales strategies with marketing campaigns and product launches.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, partners, and distributors, ensuring their satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve revenue and profitability objectives in line with the company's overall goals.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies to leverage innovative sales tools and techniques.
  • Analyse market trends, consumer preferences, and competitor activities to identify new business opportunities and stay ahead in the market.
  • Lead and mentor a high-performing sales team, fostering a culture of collaboration, growth, and accountability.


Key Capabilities for Ideal Candidate

  • Exceptional communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with clients and stakeholders at all levels.
  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing, or a related field (MBA preferred).
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with a focus on innovation and continuous improvement.
  • Solid understanding of sales operations, sales forecasting, and budgeting.
  • Experience in alcoholic beverages is essential.
  • Proven track record of successfully driving sales growth and achieving revenue targets in the beverage industry.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in sales leadership roles, with a demonstrated ability to lead and inspire sales teams.
  • Strong business acumen and strategic thinking, with the ability to analyse market dynamics and adapt sales strategies accordingly.
