Chief of Staff to CEO of Exciting Fashion Company


We are seeking a high level Chief of Staff to assist our client, a fashion company in Los Angeles. This role will act as a thought partner to the CEO. This is a great opportunity to join an exciting company with a strategic vision. The person in this role will provide: operational support, collaboration on critical initiatives, and invaluable insights. Prior experience in financial services is required.



Responsibilities:


  • Serve as a trusted advisor and thought partner to the CEO, offering expert insights and recommendations on financial matters, industry trends, and strategic initiatives.
  • Operationalize and streamline company management, including managing progress against goals.
  • Undertake special projects or assignments as directed by the senior executives.
  • Conduct research and provide insights on industry trends, market conditions, and competitive landscape.
  • Collaborate closely with the CEO, acting as a thought partner & sounding board for long-term strategy and vision with an operational lens on how to accomplish these goals via actionable plans.
  • Stay up to date with relevant regulations and industry developments that may impact the organization's operations.
  • Strategize and draft communications on CEO’s behalf including company-wide memos, presentations, press Q&A, etc.
  • Prep for and attend meetings, drive follow-ups and action items to resolution.
  • Assist in financial analysis and decision-making processes such as analyzing financial performance and developing recommendations for improving profitability or cost efficiency.
  • Identify areas for operational improvement and work closely with teams to implement streamlined processes or systems, this may involve assessing operational risks, developing policies and procedures, and monitoring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Manage relationships with key stakeholders, such as clients, investors, regulatory bodies, and industry associations. This may involve attending meetings, preparing briefing materials, and representing the organization at external events or conferences.
  • Provide leadership and mentorship to junior team members, fostering a culture of excellence, collaboration, and continuous learning.
  • Handle highly confidential information and sensitive matters with the utmost discretion and professionalism.

Requirements:


  • Excellent project management, quantitative, and communication skills
  • Highly proactive with exceptional organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Discretion and professionalism in handling confidential and sensitive information.
  • Extensive experience (7+ years) in business, with proficiency in financial modeling, data analysis, and presentation tools.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal abilities, with the capability to influence and build relationships at all levels of the organization.
  • Innovative, collaborative and trustworthy with an entrepreneurial spirit.
  • Proven track record of working closely with C-suite executives as a trusted advisor and thought partner.
  • Bachelor's degree in finance, business, or a related field. MBA or advanced degree preferred.
  • Highly accountable and driven


Compensation:

$150k-180k DOE + bonus, excellent benefits, and 401k matching



Location:

Onsite in Los Angeles
