Job Description

Company Overview:

We're currently in search of a CHRO to guide our client's human resources strategy, fostering a culture of excellence and innovation. This role is for a client that is a rapidly growing mid-size technology company focused on innovative GIS solutions.


Job Responsibilities:

  • Mentor and lead a team of HR professionals to deliver exceptional service
  • Create and maintain a diverse and inclusive work environment
  • Oversee compliance with labor laws and industry regulations
  • Lead and oversee the company’s HR departments and initiatives
  • Design talent management and retention strategies, including workforce planning and succession planning
  • Develop and manage the HR budget, aligning it with organizational objectives
  • Oversee benefits, compensation, and employee engagement programs
  • Partner with the executive team to develop and implement organizational goals related to human resources
  • Establish HR metrics to evaluate performance, employee satisfaction, and other key indicators


Qualifications:

  • High level of proficiency in HR software solutions, including HRIS and performance management systems such as Taleo, or Peoplesoft
  • Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with executives, managers, and staff at all levels
  • Experience in technology or related industries is essential
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
  • Minimum of 14 years of HR experience, with at least 7 years in an executive or senior leadership role
  • In-depth understanding of labor laws, benefits administration, and talent management


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous IT Industry experience
  • Strong understanding of agile methodologies and how they apply to a modern work environment
  • Master’s degree in Human Resources or an MBA
  • Proven track record of managing remote and diverse teams
  • Experience in mergers and acquisitions, specifically relating to human resources integration
  • Certified Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) or equivalent
