Are you a natural leader, a coach, a mentor ready to shepherd successful small businesses towards greater levels of success? As a member of the Acquira Certified Enterprise - ACE team, you will focus on the people side of change - including changes to business processes, systems and technology, job roles and organization structures. Our clients have all recently closed on the purchase of an existing successful small business and are seeking our support in transition from an owner-centric business to an internal leadership-team / management-team run business that you will help to create. You will also take part in evolving Acquira’s ACE Integration practices and educating and supporting our internal development efforts.
Your future duties and responsibilities:
Guide the creation and development of our client’s internal Leadership Team
Formulate change strategies and create change plans
Independently prepare and facilitate workshops
Gain an understanding of our client's business, and assist with mapping new processes and identifying impacts
Formulate and manage a succession plan for ownership transition
Creation, implementation,and tracking of Key Performance Indicators
Implement structured communication, including team meetings, one-on-one meetings and performance reviews
Ensure the right people are in the right seats, remove the wrong people, reseat people when necessary
Implement a framework for goal setting, identify & implement required leadership team meetings and their cadence to keep everyone accountable
Required qualifications to be successful in this role:
10+ years of Change Management experience
Ability to effectively coach, develop and lead others from large scale change initiatives, to daily interpersonal issues and everything in between
Excellent verbal, interpersonal, and written communication skills to clearly articulate messages to individuals with a wide variety of skills and experience
Exceptional at establishing a course of action for self and team to accomplish goals; effectively assigns tasks, set priorities and organizes team resources to get things done
Ability to influence others and move toward a common vision or goal
Possess the flexibility to work across multiple disciplines
Ability to act as a strategic thinker and problem-solver who can overcome challenges, on-the-fly, in a thoughtful and meaningful way
This position offers a flexible work arrangement that combines remote and on-site work. Engagements are 8-9 months per client and require 4 on-site visits of 2-3 days per engagement. There is anticipated additional travel 2-3 times per quarter in the form of due diligence site visits where consultants will gauge the quality of a potential business acquisition from a culture and operational effectiveness criteria.
This position will be engaged as a 1099 contractor. Estimated compensation range is $120-$150,000 annually with the potential for 20-40% in additional variable compensation.
