Cfo - Pe Opportunity - Relocate To Indanapolis

I am working with a private equity backed manufacturing business embarking on their next stage of growth.

They are seeking a CFO to partner with the CEO to lead the business from current revenues of C$20 to >$60M. Candidates will be an established CFO, or an experienced Controller looking for progression.

Compensation is a mix of base, bonus and (equity c.$1-2m.) The role is based on-site in Indianapolis. Candidates will need to be based in the broad Indianapolis area or willing to relocate.

PURPOSE: Why does this job exist?

· This role exists to build and lead the finance strategy, operations and capability to support the growth of the organization.

ACCOUNTABILITIES: What are the key deliverables?

The CFO is expected to directly support the business goals through deliverables such as:

· Grow the business

· Deliver the financial strategy and support to enable the key value creation initiatives

· Build a finance function capable of supporting the strategic and operational needs of the business to support the growth and profitability plans

· Manage the implementation of new ERP system

ACTIVITIES: What does the jobholder have to do?

Reporting to the CEO, the CFO will have full oversight for all financial operations of the company. They will manage the strategic direction for all financial operations that include the development of a financial and operational strategy, metrics tied to that strategy, and the ongoing development and monitoring of controls systems designed to preserve company assets and report accurate financial results.

They will manage budgeting, planning, forecasting, financial analysis, reporting, cash flow, as well as oversee the Finance team. This is a hands-on building role to support significant growth potential within a Private Equity owned business.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

· Bachelor’s degree. Major in accounting preferred. CPA helpful.

· Private equity or similar high performance culture experience preferred

· Previous relevant leadership roles as a CFO or as a Controller in a business of a similar or larger size, ideally growing revenue to > $50M

· Demonstrated ability in transformation and change management

· Experience building and developing a finance function

· Strong business partnering experience, embedding financial insights in to strategic and operational initiatives

· Strong financial leadership experience with extensive experience in financial reporting

· ERP implementation experience

· Experience within an industrial business
