⚡ Chief Financial Officer (CFO)

💰 $220-250k base + bonus + substantial equity

We are working with an extremely fast-growing AgTech start-up, who are aiming to establish themselves as a premier partner to farmers and growers to help them reduce costs and increase yields.

They're looking for a Chief Financial Office (CFO) who will help them unlock their next level of growth, including raising funds for their R&D and product manufacturing. This person must also be well-versed in all aspects of financial management ranging from simple accounting to broad investment and banking operations. The ideal candidate will be an excellent leader and will lead the company to higher profits achieving and sustainable growth.

Responsibilities

• Ensure legal compliance on all financial functions
• Oversee cash flow, cash management, working capital, and company audits
• Support the financial planning and analysis efforts
• Be an expert in project capital financing
• Fundraise and onboard larger investors to ensure continuous funding
• Create and present financial and tax strategy recommendations to CEO
• Prepare financial statements and reports

Qualifications

• Proven experience as CFO or Executive Financial Leader
• Proven experience in fundraising and taking companies through funding events (Series round fundings)
• 7 - 10 years' of finance experience
• BSc/BA in Accounting, Finance, or relevant field; MSc/MBA is a plus
• Strong finance-based analytical skills
• 5+ years experience in the AgTech world (outdoor farming, vertical farming, CEA, etc.)
