CHIEF OPERATING OFFICER

Client in seeking a COO to oversee business operations and report directly to the Chief Executive Officer. Strong leadership skills with a proven track record is a must

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Coaches and develops the team to ensure they are delivering against key business metrics.
• Works collaboratively to develop and/or improve systems, processes, controls, and procedures that improve the overall efficiency of the firm and ensure excellent client service.
• Motivate, lead and develop a high-performance team across multiple locations and over various functions.
• Acts as a strategic partner on the leadership team and works closely with the team to ensure they are meeting performance expectations.
• Manages the overall strategy, purpose, and vision of the entire Human Resources function: benefits, payroll, 401k, recruitment, learning and development, culture, performance management, and succession planning.
• Provides timely, accurate and complete reports on the operating condition of the company.
• Use various methods to improve quality, efficiency, and productivity, reduce costs, increase profits, or improve control measures.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Minimum of 10 years of management experience
• Bachelor’s degree in business, accounting, finance, or a related field required. MBA strongly preferred.
• In-depth understanding of accounting principles including budgeting, balance sheets, income statements, cash flow, and capital planning management
• Demonstrated strategic leadership ability.
• In-depth understanding of the industry including risk management, compliance, and regulatory requirements
