Our client is a dynamic and forward-looking investment firm that oversees a diverse range of companies across various industries. They are currently in search of an innovative and business-oriented CEO/COO with an entrepreneurial mindset to provide leadership for two portfolio companies: an established e-commerce business and an affiliate ad tech business. The chosen candidate will have a pivotal role in propelling growth, ensuring profitability, and defining strategic trajectories, all while cultivating a culture of ingenuity and collaborative teamwork.

The CEO/COO will play a vital role as an essential collaborator within the leadership team. Your principal objective will revolve around expanding both enterprises, with a constant emphasis on prioritizing profitability during the decision-making process. The optimal candidate will possess an MBA and a demonstrated history of effectively steering and nurturing business growth.

Responsibilities:

• Attract, cultivate, and guide talent to establish resilient and efficient teams.
• Foster a culture of efficiency, innovation, and continuous improvement.
• Identify and pursue new market opportunities and strategic partnerships to drive traffic, revenue, and market share.
• Lead the development and execution of business repositioning and expansion for both business and potential future businesses
• Work closely with the executive team of the organization to synchronize both endeavors (e-commerce and ad tech business) with the overarching strategic vision and goals.
• Formulate and execute comprehensive strategies for growth, pinpointing prospects for expansion and diversification.
• Implement financial controls, budgeting processes, and performance metrics to track progress and identify areas for improvement.
• Collaborate with marketing teams to create compelling campaigns that resonate with the target audience and align with the overall business objectives.
• Develop and implement a robust marketing strategy (customer acquisition, SEO, SEM, Email, Social) with the focus of driving customer acquisition, engagement, and brand awareness.
• Streamline and optimize operational processes across the businesses
• Oversee financial performance and ensure both businesses operate with profitability in mind.
• Provide guidance and bolster efforts to enable the businesses to achieve their maximum potential.

Qualifications:

• Strong entrepreneurial mindset with a track record of scaling and growing businesses.
• Financial acumen and a strategic approach to decision-making.
• Proven experience as a CEO, COO, or senior executive overseeing multiple business units.
• MBA or advanced degree in Business Management, Finance, or a related field.
• Ability to drive a results-oriented culture and foster collaboration among diverse teams.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills.
• Experience in e-commerce and affiliate ad tech industries is highly desirable.
