Emeritus’s Enterprise business is growing fast, and this Director, Applied Leadership Programs will be the commercial leader to accelerate our traction in developing leaders at large organizations in the United States and Canada. Our leadership programs cut across functions, with a particular focus on helping leaders embrace and achieve their organizations’ ambitions across data & AI, digital transformation, and sustainability.
Key Responsibilities:
- Source and develop six- and seven-figure commercial relationships to build leadership programs for a defined territory of large companies across the United States and Canada.
- Develop proposals of high quality that bring together Emeritus’ assets (university relationships, strong expert network, existing top-tier client base, fresh hybrid delivery format) and the client’s context and needs.
- Work collaboratively with internal curriculum designers and delivery teams, and external subject matter experts and university partners, to develop and deliver leadership programs that achieve clients’ goals.
- Contribute to a library of programs and case studies that other teams can use.
- Bolster Emeritus’ thought leadership through events and publications.
- This role begins as an individual contributor, with the possibility of building a team in the future.
Requirements:
- 5-7 years of experience in a commercial capacity designing and delivering executive leadership programs at a top-tier American university.
- A strong network of relationships with Chief Learning Officers, Heads of Leadership Development, and functional leaders at large companies in the UK & Europe.
- Comfort with a high-growth and fast-paced working environment.
- Full professional fluency in English. Additional fluency in French, Spanish, or German is a plus.
- Subject-matter expertise in digital transformation, data and AI, or sustainability is a plus.
Compensation and Benefits:
Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis. The compensation for this role is comprised of a base salary and a variable component, with the total compensation ranging between $200,000 - $300,000 annually. Pay will be determined on several factors including but not limited to location, skills, experience and may vary from the range listed above. Additional compensation includes industry leading benefits Emeritus provides, such as a comprehensive benefits package, 401K savings plan, company holidays, unlimited PTO, parental leave, and education benefits just to name a few.
