Job Description

Senior C# Engineer - Leading NYC based Hedge Fund


My client is a renowned hedge fund who are looking to systematically scale their business owing to an extended renewed period of outsized financial performance. Central to their expansion efforts is venturing into the trading of altogether new financial instruments - requiring several critical trading applications to be re-developed from the ground up.


As a Lead Engineer you'll sit within a centralized group who interface directly with teams across the business; from Trading, Research, Operations through to several SWE sub-teams - where you'll take a thoroughly hands on approach to next-gen application development that directly drives the bottom line.


Requirements

  • Minimum 5+ YOE
  • Strong SQL
  • Excellent communication skills - experience working directly with your stakeholders.
  • Highly proficient in C#/.net application development
  • Buy-side financial services experience with knowledge of fixed income derivatives
  • Experience with stream processing - Kafka/Flink or similar
  • Knowledge of any of the following; Kubernetes/OpenShift/Docker
