Business Process Analyst - Process Mapping
Pay: $45-47 / hourly as W2, full benefits offered
Remote - EST hours required
Length of contract: 8 months, likely extension into 2024
The target hiring compensation range for this role is $45 to $47 / hourly as a W2 employee.
Compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to education, relevant work experience, relevant certifications, and location. Additional benefits offered may include; medical health insurance and dental insurance, life insurance, and eligibility to participate in a 401k plan with company match.
This is a great role helping to support a broader Marketing / Transformation team that is creating a new Change management group. Within this group will be a Business Process analysis unit.
This Business Process Analyst will be a key role for this team, helping to review all current artifacts / assessing how things are done today, then taking this information, evolving it and leveling it up.
Key needs for this role:
A majority of this role will be helping to produce process maps / process redesigns.
This role will build RACI charts: Responsible, Accountable, Consulted, Informed
This will be accomplished by meeting with project owners across the group. The Process Analyst will come in and help to re-engineer current processes.
They will look at process / control points, how to map them, and streamline them - primarily using Visio and Excel.
This Process Analyst will facilitate conversations among a group of SMEs and help to drive change.
Role Summary/Purpose:
Our Client is continuing to build a world class Performance Marketing Organization committed to driving results with our retail and payments partners while also delivering leading customer experiences.
The Business process analyst will work cross-functionally with various departments throughout the company to improve the way the company works.
The Business Process Analyst will help to support the development/implementation of new business processes and the modification of existing processes.
Essential Responsibilities:
• Work with subject matter experts and process owners across the organization to develop new, or modify existing, processes.
• Proficient in developing gap analysis, process mapping and process road maps.
• Ability to oversee and assess existing processes and workflows.
• Assists with the design, testing and implementation of new procedures.
• Manages reporting to monitor project status and modifications.
• Ability to communicate recommendations effectively with tools including PowerPoint, Visio, spreadsheets, documents, etc.
• Collaborate with stakeholders and communicate recommendations, progress, and outcomes.
• Ability to effectively communicate changes, risks and potential issues with leadership for effective project management.
• Creates detailed process instructions (job aids) for successful implementation of process changes.
• Assist with procedure and process updates where applicable.
• Facilitation of governance review sessions to aid in identification of risks and controls
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in business related field or technology, and/or 3-5 years of experience in one of the following areas is required: process management, change management, lean 6 sigma/Transformation.
• Familiarity with identifying internal control points, performance measurement needs, program/project management.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office suite of business software is required (primarily VISIO and Microsoft Office suite: Word, Excel, Teams, PowerPoint)
• Must have excellent communication skills, including verbal, written, and presentation skills including the ability to present to management.
• Overall this team needs to revise and update documentation and processes across the broader organization. Someone skilled in Microsoft Office and Visio is required.
Desired Characteristics:
• Experience in the financial services industry.
• Familiarity with tools such as Jira are a bonus.
• Experience in Agile methodologies, processes and mindset• Highly motivated, assertive self-starter with the ability to work autonomously or as a strong team participant
• Experience with coordinating across work streams and delivery areas.
• Business certifications i.e. Agile certifications, lean Six Sigma certifications
• Knowledge of the Financial Services Industry and Credit Card/Consumer Finance products
