Data Analyst Opportunity:

TalentWell is hiring a Business Data Analyst to support a rapidly growing medical ancillary services company located in Houston, Texas 77058. Recognized as the 2022 Top Workplace with award for Culture Excellence in Innovation. This medical company is a leader in laboratory, pain management and anesthesia services throughout Texas.

This role will work within the accounting department located in the company's corporate office. Previous Medical Data Analyst and Excel experience required.

• Full time, W2 permanent role (C2C not offered)
• Position reports to Corporate Office in Webster, TX 77058
• Schedule: Monday-Friday 8:30am-5:30pm
• Pay: $65,000-$105,000/annually

Data Analyst Essential Job Functions:

• Liaise with accounting with regards to billing requirements and delinquent and partial billing
• Perform other job-related duties as assigned
• Run reports, analyze data and prepare spreadsheets
• Handle mid-month and month end proforma runs on revenue totals
• Automate report delivery where possible, support the development of standard data analyses, reports, and dashboards.
• Responsible for gathering, structuring, and analyzing large and complex data sets from multiple sources
• Resolve inquiries and issues related to billing
• Assist and perform audits of billing data
• Ensure data accuracy
• Proactively identify, gather and analyze data to examine patterns and trends
• Develop and update regular and ad-hoc reports to provide clear strategic recommendations
• Produce effective professional presentations of analyses
• Compare and analyze financial data to propose billing/revenue totals

Data Analyst Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:

• Strong Proficiency in MS Excel
• Minimum two years’ experience Healthcare/Medical data analysis
• Experience with data analytics, ad-hoc reporting, data mining
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Mathematics, Computer Science, Finance, Economics, Statistics or similar
• Must be able to problem solve and adjust priorities with little advance notice to meet deadlines and requests.
• Strong organizational skills
• Excellent written and verbal skills and the ability to interface with multiple levels of management are essential.
