About The Job
Anthro Energy is a hiring highly motivated business operations and accounting associate to join our team. This role will encompass the responsibilities in accounting, budgeting, planning, and administrative support, impacting the daily business operations of the company, with direct interaction with the management team.
What You Will Do

• Oversee purchasing process, ensuring cost-effective procurement of goods and services for the company
• Manage in-house accounting tasks, including bookkeeping, invoicing, and accounts payable/receivable
• Assist with general administrative tasks, including planning and organizing company events and team-building activities and maintaining office supplies and pantry food
• Assist with budgeting and financing planning, including expense analysis and financial data forecasting
• Help with onboarding new team members and coordinate account setup
• Support management team with various activities, including organizing travel arrangements and preparing expense reports

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• A positive attitude, strong work ethic, high sense of responsibility, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Exceptional communication skills and a knack for organizing events
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
• Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Office suites. Experience in financial modeling is a bonus
• 1-2 years of experience in an accounting role, preferably in an accounting consultancy company or a startup and tech environment
• Proficient in Microsoft and aptitude for learning new software and systems
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial management
