KOS is seeking an Accounting Associate to join our company. As the Accounting Associate, you will be responsible for maintaining accounting databases and spreadsheets, creating reports, and data entry. This role will report directly to the Controller.

- Commission-based Broker reporting
- E-Commerce digital payment processing
- QuickBooks Online Advanced data entry
- Wholesale chargeback deduction management
- Assist with some month-end close processes/reconciliations
- AR – Payment processing and customer relationship management
- Creating reports as required
- Maintaining accounting databases and spreadsheets, updating information as needed
- State sales tax reporting
- Revenue reporting
- Relational Database data entry and processing
- AP – invoice entry and vendor relationship management
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills as well as the ability to maintain professionalism under pressure
- Advanced computer skills and proficiency with financial management software
- Knowledge of cost accounting a plus
- Experience with month-end close a plus
- Advanced Excel skills
- Experience with bank reconciliations a plus
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or business administration is required OR 5+ years direct accounting experience
- Experience in the consumer goods industry/deductions management is a plus
- Extensive experience in finance or accounting
- QuickBooks Online or comparable accounting software experience
- Great organizational skills, accuracy, and attention to detail
- Ability to handle competing demands and adaptability to a changing environment
- Extensive experience in the collections process is a plus
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in an accounting role
- Salary: $65,000 - $75,000 per year, full-time position
