The Team
Business Manager – Global Partners is a newly created function focusing on our most strategic partner portfolio worldwide. We help our ecosystem of partners drive enhanced workflow, and we are passionate about helping organizations transform and redefine the very nature of how work gets done.
The Business Manager – Global Partners is about to embark on a number of strategic transformation efforts including reimagining what true partnership means for both ServiceNow and our amazing partner ecosystem.
The Role
You will lead key strategic initiatives and own communications to make the VP, Global Partners more impactful. You will also play a major role in helping the VP maintain a pulse on everything going on in the company and the Partner organization, surfacing critical information in a timely manner.
Core strategic priorities include:
- Drive operational rhythm including pipeline, forecasting, Executive Briefing templates, reporting, cultivating and executing weekly leadership / staff meetings, quarterly all hands, off-sites, and regular cadences with peers and executive leadership.
- Define structured and predictable ways for the VP and his leaders to engage with different sales leaders across the company to build a collaborative working relationship.
- Identify and lead scalable, repeatable programs to support partner acceleration and growth. This includes professional services training and enablement programs to support field sales, and opportunities to drive synergies across global partner GTM operations.
- Help ideate, craft and communicate the north star and narrative to the broader organization.
Other key responsibilities:
- Create strong cross-functional relationships with key business partners across the sales, customer success, corporate strategy and product organizations
- Support meeting preparation and follow-up.
- Drive the strategic agenda and serve as primary point of contact for the VP and the extended team leaders.
- Ensure that the Global Partners GTM team strategy and charter is refined, operationalized, measured and communicated
- Support the customer agenda including identification of engagement and sponsorship opportunities.
- Help establish a culture of cross-functional cooperation and alignment.
- Influence decision making within executive audiences; establish and nurture relationships at the highest levels of the organization
- Partner with GTM leadership to create and deliver a high-impact presentations for ServiceNow C-suite and ELT.
Qualifications
Skills/Qualifications
- Past experience and relationships with major SI’s, ISV’s, Managed Service Providers, Value Added Resellers and experience with leading software, Cloud & SaaS organizations required.
- High energy, strong work ethic.
- 10+ years of experience in go-to-market function for a Software/SaaS technology company; prior experience as a Chief-of-Staff or operational leadership role preferred.
- Utterly organized and detail-oriented; a love for creating order out of chaos.
- Bachelor’s degree and/or MBA degree is a strong plus
- Self-starter who thrives and can multitask in fast-paced and often ambiguous environments.
- Strong program management skills.
- Strong people development and leadership skills; able to influence and manage multiple extended or virtual teams.
- Ability to handle interpersonal relationships judiciously, professionally, and empathetically.
- Strong interpersonal skills; ability to influence at the highest levels.
- Ability to learn quickly on a fast-paced team including highly technical areas.
- Collaborative team player who also knows how to ‘get things done’.
For positions in California (outside of the Bay Area), we offer a base pay of $111,960 - $195,840, plus equity (when applicable), variable/incentive compensation and benefits. Sales positions generally offer a competitive On Target Earnings (OTE) incentive compensation structure. Please note that the base pay shown is a guideline, and individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, competencies and work location. We also offer health plans, including flexible spending accounts, a 401(k) Plan with company match, ESPP, matching donations, a flexible time away plan and family leave programs (subject to eligibility requirements). Compensation is based on the geographic location in which the role is located, and is subject to change based on work location. For individuals who will be working in the Bay Area, there is a pay enhancement for positions located in that geographical area; please contact your recruiter for additional information.
