Business Intelligence Associate, Otter - Us & Canada

Restaurants around the world, both large and small, including Chick-fil-A, Ben & Jerry's, KFC, and Eataly trust our software to power their delivery business. We increase sales, reduce order issues, and decrease delivery headaches.

What you'll do

• Automate routine tasks, freeing teams to focus on high-impact work.
• Collaborate with teams and stakeholders across the world to define and implement data-driven strategies aimed at growing revenue and improving unit economics.
• Maintain and improve data pipelines, extracting raw data from various APIs (Stripe, WooCommerce, etc.), cleaning and consolidating it for unified analysis.
• Transform complex data into actionable insights, enable data-driven decision making.
• Develop comprehensive dashboards to track revenue and operational metrics.

What we're looking for

• Proficiency in SQL, Python, Google Sheets or Excel and data visualization tools like Google DataStudio. Experience managing large datasets and building end-to-end data pipelines.
• Proficiency in building scalable, efficient solutions to complex problems. Ability to continuously improve processes using data, automation and documentation.
• A strong inclination towards analytical problem-solving. Comfortable and enthusiastic about manipulating large and complex datasets to reveal practical, impactful solutions.
• Ability to develop authentic relationships with cross-functional teams worldwide. Understanding of diverse perspectives to resolve issues and influence stakeholders to drive impact.

This role is based in our Los Angeles office location. We believe that people do their best work when they are together. As a company, we're in the marketplace of ideas and innovation. When you're constantly innovating, changing how an industry works, inventing new products and processes - and we are doing all these things - we believe we're better as a team in-person.
