Our Opportunity

Looking for a very sharp and motivated Business Intelligence Analyst to design and develop solutions for automating and streamlining accounting, reconciliation, and operational financial applications. The Business Intelligence Analyst will work with members of the finance, treasury, and accounting teams to understand the existing processes and then develop solutions for improving existing and creating new application tools. The development work will be primarily at the database level, so MS SQL skills are necessary; Web and API application development skills are a plus. Other key contributions include:

• Review, understand and document existing financial processes and procedures with regards to application usage
• Review the results with the users
• Architect and develop the database objects necessary to support the changes or new functionality
• Monitor and Support the changes
• Design enhanced or new processes to improve financial operations
• Discuss changes with the Accounting, Finance, and Treasury teams
• Document the changes both from a technical as well as an operational (user) standpoint

Qualifications

• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• 2+ years of experience working with MS SQL Server
• Entrepreneurial orientation and ability to manage multiple projects and processes in a fast-paced environment
• Natural curiosity and creative approach to problem-solving
• Technical degree (Computer science, Statistics, Business, Information Systems, Informatics or similar)
• Experience in managing projects/timelines
• Strong analytical skills
• Strong understanding of business operations and financial concepts

Salary: The base range in for this position is $60-80K. Actual starting compensation may vary based on geographic location, work experience, and skills.
