Their role is to develop, enhance and support AI/EXY dashboard using the Power BI tool.

Produce ETL design guidelines and maintain ETL processes to ensure a robust and manageable ETL infrastructure for BI systems.

Proven experience in BI/data warehousing planning and development.

Applies broad knowledge of data integration functions to accurately anticipate system or project impacts.

Ensures unit test is completed and meets the test plan requirements

Advanced skills in performance tuning, monitoring, and troubleshooting data integration solutions

Solid communication, interpersonal, and collaborative skills and a demonstrated ability for creative problem solving of business and technical challenges

Experience moving data to/from the following: Teradata, DB2, Hadoop, SQL Server, Flat Files, DB2, SQL Server

Experience with ETL tools (Informatica, Talend, etc.)

· Must have working knowledge in business intelligence and analytics platforms such as WebFOCUS or Tableau.

· Prior experience in creating dashboards and interactive reporting applications is highly preferred.

· Prior experience in data analytics is highly preferred.

· Must have excellent oral and written communications skills, and demonstrated ability in business writing.

· Must have a Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or related field.

· Exposure to Object Oriented programming techniques, HTML 5 or JavaScript is preferred.

Work with management and project management offices to develop and maintain project objectives and plans

Bring projects to completion, on time and within budget using the System Design Life Cycle and the established Project Management methodologies

REQUIREMENT: Bachelor’s Degree and 8+ years of related experience, or equivalent combination of experience

Plan, manage, and provide project status following the adopted agency’s Software Development Life-Cycle (SDL) from inception to implementation

Perform unit and integration testing to ensure business requirements are met and programming logic executes as expected

Knowledge and experience with different types of database structures, joins and data blending techniques.

Drive data quality across the business with advanced/expert experience in data engineering and data warehousing.

Maintains knowledge and familiarity with current and emerging technologies, best practices, business processes, industry trends, and information security considerations.

3-5+ Years’ experience in ETL and Data wrangling.

Experience as a Power BI Developer

Extensive knowledge and expertise in business intelligence, databases, and especially, technical aspects of BI tools (Microsoft Power BI prreferred)

Experience in Microsoft SQL Server and SQL

Strong problem-solving and analytical skills

Understanding business requirements in the BI context and designing data models to convert raw data to meaningful insights.

Ability to work in a team.

Knowledge of SQL queries and SQL Server Management Studio.

Strong understanding of database management systems, online analytical processing, and ETL frameworks.
