Business Development Representative Jobs

The Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) Analyst will onboard new Customers analyze requirements, produce mapping documents, test systems, and establish communication with trading partners.

Responsibilities

• Identify and resolve system issues
• Periodically review system to ensure system health, identify possible modifications as required
• Collaborate with business users to convert specifications to program logic and/or address any issues with program logic
• Remains current regarding EDI and internet field technological developments.
• Analyzes and defines EDI requirements for clients, especially for needs and circumstances that are slightly unusual
• Creates, develops, and produces mapping documents
• Performs other related duties as assigned
• Check for any issues with the operation of the new applications with existing system software and applications
• Develops and maintains communication links with trading partners
• Manage and maintain comprehensive documentation

Skills and Experience

• MS SQL database platform - scripting, stored procedures, SSIS
• Electronic Data Interchange Software (IBM B2Bi)
• Communication methods e.g. FTP, sFTP, AS2, VAN
• Transaction sets e.g. 850, 855, 860, 865, 856, 810
• EDI data/structure, mapping (ANSI, Edifact)

• Work independently on multiple projects simultaneously
• Willingness to share time and talents with EDI integration projects

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field
• 4+ years comparable experience
