We are searching for a resourceful Business Development Manager to help grow and build our sportsbook data relationships. In joining the Business Development Group, you will form and negotiate partnerships with sportsbook data providers to partner with DraftKings product and trading teams to help power the DraftKings sportsbook. Our team works in a fast-paced, results-driven environment that will require you to balance multiple priorities, projects, and deadlines at once. What you’ll do as a Business Development Manager:
  • Identify, evaluate, and execute potential opportunities including partnerships, vendor relationships, new business concepts, and other growth initiatives.
  • Provide role in deal structuring, negotiation, and execution of commercial agreements, including standard vendor relationships, strategic partnerships, and intellectual property licensing.
  • Conduct due diligence and analysis to make recommendations to Senior Leadership.
  • Assist in preparation of senior management deal summaries and strategy presentations.
  • Work closely with DraftKings account management team to ensure partnerships are achieving established KPIs and executed upon as negotiated.
  • Support of other business development initiatives, as needed.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with partners; engage with them on a regular basis to maintain strong lines of communication.
  • Oversee continual processes with various internal stakeholders such as legal, accounting/finance, compliance, analytics/business intelligence, etc.
What you'll bring:
  • 4+ years’ experience in sales, business development, and structuring and negotiating commercial deals.
  • Strong communication (written/verbal), presentation and organizational skills
  • Proven track record of managing multiple priority projects simultaneously while maintaining exceptional attention to detail is required.
  • Inspire creativity internally and externally around opportunities.
  • A minimum of a bachelor’s degree is required.
  • Excellent analytical, financial modeling, problem solving, strategic thinking, and Microsoft Office skills are required.
  • Gaming and/or technology industry experience, strongly preferred.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $120,000.00 - $180,000.00, plus bonus, equity, and benefits as applicable. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
