Job Details


The Business Development Assistant will support the BD group’s efforts in providing sales and market research services to the firm’s practice groups, industry groups, and individual partners.


Responsibilities


  • Prepare research and marketing/sales materials for meetings with prospective clients
  • Assist the group in preparing weekly sales reports and other internal, practice group and industry group business development metrics
  • Maintain updates to experience lists and case studies used to target pitch efforts
  • Support the public relations program, by providing relevant information as well as draft responses to awards, directory, and league table entries
  • Coordinating sales materials updates with other external communications, including updates to practice group descriptions and representative matters on the firm’s website, blogs and presence on social media platforms
  • Various sales and marketing research projects for practice groups and industry groups


Requirements


  • Bachelor's Degree required
  • Highly proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook) and Adobe Acrobat Pro
  • Experience in a Marketing, Communication, Sales, Account Management or Business Development capacity in a professional services organization
  • Some media, public relations, and/or online marketing experience preferred
