We are looking for a

Business Analyst

to join our Business Finance team in Houston.

With our recent acquisition of Sequential Environmental in January of 2023, and our strong focus on finance and renewables, we have an opportunity to join our Business Finance Americas team. Your valuable insights will provide top management with valuable progress and growth analysis, while collaborating closely with local management teams to align our operations with the group's strategic goals. Your main responsibilities in creating a sustainable future are

• Support Neste Management to identify development needs in financial and management accounting and drive harmonization.
• Be a trusted financial advisor and lead its finance alignment with Neste.
• Ad hoc tasks as assigned by the supervisor.
• Be responsible for timely and accurate reporting in connection to Neste Group requirements, including P&L, cash flow, Working Capital and KPIs
• Help the business to continuously improve performance.
• Maintain an overview of the finance figures and provide financial insights on the entities’ performance.
• Identify and discuss development ideas in compliance processes.
• Develop tools, processes and ways of working.

You will work closely with America’s finance teams, Americas management team and Renewable products Leadership team members. Providing clear and objective analysis on the performance of feedstock business in a high growth and dynamic environment. This is the start of establishing a truly regional team, in close collaboration with our European HQ, you will report to the Business Partner.

The best combination to success in this role

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• At least two years related experience required.
• Proficient with Google Tools.
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or other related field preferred
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

We also value

• Combination of persistence and humble/cooperative communication skills
• Experience in a matrix organization (Nordic environments are a plus but not essential)
