Primarily Monday through Friday; 8am – 5:00pm with occasional evenings and weekends per departmental needs.

The Financial Analyst position is responsible for producing and analyzing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports, performing research and analysis, developing financial models, assisting the organization in month-end close processing, financial planning, preparing capital and operating budgets, and forecast and analyzing budget to actual variances.
This position has been identified as supporting UK HealthCare, which receives funding from the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS). Therefore, all individuals hired into this position must comply with the federal CMS mandate issued in March of 2022. This mandate requires all new hires to provide proof of COVID-19 vaccination or obtain an approved medical or religious exemption as a condition of employment. Start of employment cannot occur until two weeks after receiving the full COVID-19 vaccination series or upon obtaining an approved exemption. Only vaccines approved by the World Health Organization can be accepted.

Minimum of five years of experience in finance/accounting. Experience in health care is strongly preferred. Epic software experience is desired. Efficient in financial reporting, Excel, Access, PowerPoint and Word.

Master’s Degree Preferred. Expertise needed with Reporting Programs and Accounting Software including GHX/ODAP, SAP, Excel, Microsoft Office.
